Re: Bottled Water Debate
unless you're tap water comes out brown, buying bottled water is stupid. get a metal drinking container and fill where available.

Re: Bottled Water Debate
Fiji water is the only alkaline bottled water out there and that in itself is a huge plus considering most of our bodies are too acidic. The majority of us would benefit from having a more alkaline body, it contributes such health benefits as decreased rates in cancer, higher bone density, and others.

Re: Bottled Water Debate
I am pleased at the number of people who realize that buying bottled water is stupid. I expected less from OOT.
Edit: But posts like this...

Well you could be an ignorant douche or you could take 3 minutes to read up on the benefits of a more alkaline diet.

Re: Bottled Water Debate
you realize all that **** is just local tap water thats been purified right? So its all pretty much the same.
You also realize that you can purify your own local tap water, and save a gazzilion dollars and its better for the planet, right?
I mean by all means save a fiji bottle and just pour your own water into it so you can mentally think its fancy and expensive everytime you drink from it.

Your blood pH is controlled by an interaction between your lungs and kidneys. Your diet is going to have no effect what so ever. Think of all the time knowing that will save you!

Re: Bottled Water Debate
Always buy bottled water. Didn't know that the standards for tap water are higher. May reconsider in the future.

yeah, the big difference is that spring water doesnt have to meet any kind of FDA standard other than it comes from a spring, so its often not even purified or treated so its prolly worse for you than actual tap water.

That's literally like saying the pancreas and liver control glucose levels so eat all the sugar you want.
