Why would they? They have literally zero information about whether he is or isn't. Why get so worked up that he's innocent that you're potentially defending a serial rapist without any reason to do so? Them working for PR firms is the reason.

I think Ghandi had a bad side, but did tremendous good on the whole.

I think Mother Teresa meant well, but some craziness led to a lot of bad results. If you would ask her though, we are just looking at short term results. The real results are how many souls in heaven vs. hell.
