And you still havsnt answered why you think it's 50%+ that ANY of the women sho have come forward are lying or exaggerating. Unless, again, you're operating on the assumption that some of them have to be. It's entirely possible it comes out that one of these women's story doesn't add up, but why are you assuming that?

Well duh people lie. Thats hardly a good reason to assume any of these women are lying about this in particular. Especially when false rape claims are so rare.

Rare in relation to what ? Its not unreasonable to assume that a higher % of these claims when directed at 'higher ups' in society will be false vs. your regular joe. His story seems airtight.

I think he's guilty as well, but this doesn't rise to the level of OJ obviousness. OJ was open-and-shut and the jurors openly hand-waved DNA away like it was some sort of weird sorcery the prosecution was trying to sell.

I agree the violence was way cartoonish but I do remember that particular scene being quite nasty. It was even cut originally on dvd before the special edition came out. Incidentally in Tarantino's original script, Arquette was the sole survivor.

You're not being some super-rational 'thinker' by pointing out that yes we don't know 100% that Cosby did this and we don't know 100% that some people aren't lying, and that there are multiple perspectives in a situation. Someone has 17 women accusing them of rape > saying they're a rapist is probably fine
Someone doesn't think a person reacted to rape the way they'd assume > saying they're lying is probably fine WE JUST DON'T KNOW IF IT'S TRUE

These two things aren't the same. There are degrees of probability and sensitivity here

17 people make a consistent & specific allegation. Either they're telling the truth or all independently lying and giving the same specifics while lying. To me the most likely explanation is that there's truth to the allegations.

Where I said know I obviously meant as determined as I could be about it. I don't have any evidence other than the improbability of all these women coming up with this if everything were to be fake. I would also be surprised if 100% of all the accusations are completely founded and true.

I know they weren't but in the duke lacrosse case for example, you didn't have a bunch of other women coming forward and making the same allegations against the same guys. Ditto with William Kennedy Smith. In the UK in the 90s, British celebrity Craig Charles was accused and acquitted of rape and again, you didn't have suddenly much more women coming forward with the same allegations. Here- like with the Jimmy Saville case- you have an initial complaint and then suddenly a bunch more again, with the same consistency re specifics.
I think it's unlikely that all were made up. Usually in serial cases, there's truth to the accusations. It's like that Canadian celebrity Jian Ghomeshi facing allegations of sexual harassment from eight women. He's also blaming the alleged victims, claiming they're malicious, spreading lies and attempting to "smear" him. Yet all eight women have a consistency to their complaints.
I suspect the women making the accusations against Cosby are telling the truth.
