Well, our society is shaped by our biology and biology is shaped by our society. Biologically and sociologically throughout the vast majority of human history, men have taken the majority of the dominant "get **** done" roles which required more logical and rational thinking. Women have taken roles where using their emotions to guide them has benefited them the most(raising children, trying to find out whether a man is willing to commit) You ever fight with a woman and try to use logic against her? She will become frustrated because you don't "understand" her or her feelings. I do think men probably have the capacity to get equally as emotional as women, they just tend not to be controlled and act on the emotion nearly as often. These roles have begin to flip rather rapidly though, so I think you might be right and there may be some understatements in how much society plays a role vs biology in shaping our brain makeups.
