About 150 feet. I jumped from the pedestrian walkway which is above where the cars are (which would be 135 feet).

Did you regret it right after you jumped?

While in the air no, I was still focused on not landing on my feet. Once I was in the water I definitely did and was actively trying to not drown. For some reason drowning was a scary thought at that point, lol.

I landed on my back.

I broke 2 vertabrae and 5 ribs, but had no internal bleeding. I have to wear a neckbrace for 3 to 9 months (it's been about 2) but no long term damage. I have some numbing in my left finger tips.

I walked to the middle of the bridge. I had to climb up a bench to get to a place where i could walk over the cars below, but there are about 3 spots on the bridge where there are handles to hold on.

A chopper and then boat came and rescued me. More on that if you want.

I was told that I could be charged with something, but the NYPD was not going to do so.


Why I jumped is a good question, part of it is neurological (Im bipolar and wasn't on medicine), part of it was coming down from a week long coke and e bender, part of it was ????? heh.

They all followed me obv :P
