FWIW I'm not just talking about you at all. I think all the attempts to clean up bickering in the LC threads have been really misguided. For the most part the threads have done a good job of self policing and telling people to shut up when they go to far.

Trip report from my best friend's wedding yesterday:

It was beautiful all day while we were setting up on he rooftop of her apartment building. And then as soon as guests began to arrive it started to rain. When it became clear that the rain wasn't going to stop, and BF was about to start hyperventilating, my mother suggested we move the party to my parents' house. So we packed up all the flowers and the food and the keg and about 40 guests and moved the whole damn wedding. One guest went all the way to Bellingham and back to bring Chick-fil-a as his potluck contribution. Bros were iced, including the groom by his wife. Bizarre.

Also, the Starbucks at the airport has my favorite Odwalla smoothie.

That's all well and good, but how often do I need to feed the damn cats?

that's a group of people dedicated to making the best of any situation and having fun. kudos to them!

There's a Red Hot and Blue BBQ place near where I live. I get take out there at least once a week and they give me small packages of BBQ sauce, kinda like ketchup at McDonald's. I never use them all, and I can't bring myself to throw them away, so I save the ones I don't use for when I grill my own stuff. I have so many that I decided to go buy squeeze bottles to pour the BBQ sauces into the bottles to make them easier to use around the grill and such. I'm in the process now of transferring all the BBQ sauce from small packets to the plastic bottles.

If it was possible to get high of the scent of amazing BBQ sauce, I'm there right now. Can't wait to cook ribs tonight!

Outdoor wedding events in Seattle are pretty risky. Sucks you can't even trust july to not have sweaty balls weather.

I'm pretty sure this post was meant for the stingiest thing I've seen people do thread.

Does anyone know how to get rid of electronic interference on PC speakers. I got new ones awhile ago and they worked great until the past week or so. Now the buzzing noise happens so frequently it sounds like someone is sending messages in Morse code. I have tried removing anything else electronic from my desk and even raising the speakers themselves as far away from the PC as possible and it hasn't gotten any better.
