I am not surprised the word has not surfaced. These dolls no more look like death and corpses than any 2D photo of a real woman. The only thing they might share in common is is body temperature, which is not necessarily a triggering factor of necrophilia. And in most cases, doll owners heat their silicone dolls before using.

The percentage of necrophiliacs found amongst doll owners therefore should be no more in the doll community than a comparable sampling of members from this forum.

1) Firstly check out the usage polls at TDF and you will see the primary motivation for purchasing the dolls is sex (masturbation). That was mine. But dolls are designed in the shape of a woman and are multifaceted items, so ownership often branches into other areas after the 'honeymoon' is over, the biggest being photography. Mind you I have heard of some body builders using them for girl on top cowgirl style sex to work their biceps along with their weenies.

2) I never doubt myself when logic comes into play. Dolls have strong scientific and biological arguments as to their benefits. TDF is a working model of one of the most peaceful communities on the net. That must say something about the peace and tranquility they bring


Also to comment on an earlier question about kids. a)Young kids see them as large barbie dolls and need no explanation. Children old enough to know are too polite and too intelligent to ask. I was probably the only dad in town in 2008 that received a make-up kit from his daughters for Christmas. My youngest, in her early 20's also gives me her hand me downs for Bianca to wear and they are a near perfect fit. I can take them or leave them. I am not threatened by them and I am not delusional even if I do hug them or cuddle them. I also race cars, and play FPS, strategy and RPG games, cut a few cord of wood in a weekend, play golf, play cards, kayak, travel, go with the flow when traveling, so to speak. it's a sad state of affairs to find myself in but at the moment I can't use my dolls for sex so I am having to rely on the good old fasioned method

Who am I? I'm the owner of that 'other forum' - our doll community, that Midiman hates with a passion. Long story there, and for another time. Sorry it took so long to join this thread, but I'm pretty busy with real-life stuff.

about 1.: well, there has been no actual gateway event in my case, it is just that I discovered the dolls and have been fascinated by them at the moment I found out about them.
