I recommend it. It's a pretty solid way to cook food. Results in a juicy meats, and chicken comes out much better than I can do on a stove. I don't really like the way steaks come out and prefer stove, but if you have a real crappy cut of steak, it will probably taste better in the instapot vs the stove. Veggies and potatoes cook fast. In comparison to a crockpot, if you have like 4 different items in (meat, potatoes, veggies, flavoring), they tend to turn into tasting the same way with the same texture. It's disconcerting when meat, potatoes, veggies all have the same consistency and flavor. Instapot cooks it way faster, and each item retains it's own flavor and texture much better. I probably use it like 1-2 times a week now and don't use my crockpot anymore. I also do meal prep and make like 15-30 frozen meals with crockpot recipes that I used to put in the crockpot. Now I just took those frozen bags and pop them into the instapot and it comes out way better and faster. You can also cook beans, but I haven't tried it yet, I've only had it for like 6 months. Cleanup is also marginally easier as well (things don't get nearly as stuck to the pot vs a crockpot). I can't see myself ever using a crockpot again. It does rice as well, but I prefer just using my rice cooker, as I often do rice + meat + veggies, and I'm nervous to put it all in the instapot. There's a slight learning curve to it, so make sure to read the manual, as they have some tips to make things taste better, and correct settings to use for different foods.
