Ftr, I'm 21 and I see 30 as young generally. But of course as others have said it depends on your lifestyle/attitude. It's cliche, but the more I deal with older (than me) people it's becoming really clear to me that age really is just a number...for better or for worse.

I think its a shame for society that higher education is viewed more and more in terms of a specialist jobs training program, so I applaud your college.
This was definitely not always the case. I think in general, undergraduate education has become more specialized over the last 100 years than the other way around.

I have a friend who is mid to late 40s and I don't consider him old because of lifestyle he is not much different than a mid-20 year old other than that he has a much better job and more money.
On the other hand I have friends who are younger than I am that I do consider old. I ran into a guy I had not seen in a couple of years and he just looked old even though he is 7-8 years younger than I am. The big difference is that he has kids. Children are pretty much instant old even if you are in your late 20s.

Kids grow up. I wasn't going to see bands 10 years ago when both my kids were home and in school. My SIL moshed for the first time on my last birthday. When something is really special, I just buy tickets for all of us now. Looking at lifestyle, I'm pretty sure that I'm younger today than I was 10 years ago.
