Re: 3 pointers made vs. pushups in 24 hrs

Form will be judged very critically, no cheap pushups

I dont know what this means

at peak fitness, how many pushups can pushup guy do in one set without stopping? And we still need some clarification on what your definition of a pushup is.

Re: 3 pointers made vs. pushups in 24 hrs

3pt shooter wins this.

The body can handle a significant amount of 3 pointers compared to pushups. A good 3pt shooter does not need a month to train.

Push up guy will need far more focus on training and diet compared to the 3pt shooter.

It's much easier to recuperate from shooting 250 3pointers than it is to doing 250 pushups.

If the 3 pt shooter can maintain a good % and takes 4 to 5 times as many shots as pushups, GAME OVER!

A valid pushup is chest to floor and arms extended. Nba style means from legit nba 3 pt range.

Re: 3 pointers made vs. pushups in 24 hrs

would they each be getting updates on how their opponent is doing? Cuz that would give 3 point guy a psychological advantage. Pushup guy would certainly have to slow down as he gets tired and sore, but 3 point guy can increase the pace if he needs to late in the game.

If shooting 3 pointers and getting your own rebounds is as hard as walking, it's going to be hard enough that I think his shooting percentage is going to go to complete **** after several hours.

Re: 3 pointers made vs. pushups in 24 hrs

Pushups. Shooting a 3 and going to get the rebound and come back behind the arc is not much less energy than doing 1 pushup. And he's only gonna make probably what 1 in 4 shots, if that?

Pushups. Bet is better if pushup guy has do do a shot every ___ amount of time or ___ number of 3s made.

Re: 3 pointers made vs. pushups in 24 hrs

can they see each other during? seems like pushup guy could just do one every time 3 pt guy makes one and bang out a couple others every hour or so and be good.

Show both guys the current record for each and offer the push up guy to do chin ups instead. The record for chin ups is 3,750 in 24 hours but the guy apparently quit after 8 hours. If the guy shooting 3's is getting his own boards he might just get winded getting his own rebounds. That plays a factor too.

Frankly, I don't see how that would even out the odds.

How do you expect him to sink a shot wearing those?!?!?!??!?!!!
