ghwb had some health scares last year. mcauley culkin just looks shady to me idk

Many of my picks on the younger side were those who lead riskier lifestyles involving bad decisions, drug/alcohol abuse etc...

Bieber had an ATV accident, a careless driving/DUI for street racing in a lambo in south florida near where i live, has had conflicts with neighbors and in general seems irresponsible, not too far fetched for something to happen to him.

GHW Bush, is 92, has had on/off again heart problems, been in hospital a few times in the last few years.

Anyone on Charles Manson? He was taken to a hospital a few hours ago.

Going for a heart related death.

Hilldawg is attending the inauguration, she just might have it in her!

Nope. Nobody picked Manson.

Completely forgot that he was 82.

I'm always surprised when I'm reminded he is alive.

Also GHWBush on so many lists? Guess I didn't hear he was doing poorly either.
Picks of young celebs who use drugs and do dumb **** rarely win these things. They are worth a lot when they die, but the hit rate is very low.

Middle aged people dying of cancer or ALS are generally your bread and butter if you're trying to win, but that requires a little more research, so people usually just go with olds + young famous idiots.

Bob, address this please before somebody takes out Baghdadi.

I thought this was betting was on which 2+2ers were going to die...seems more intereresting.

I choose Mason.

No you should not replace Baghdadi. He can still count if he dies it just depends on how.

Right but clearly people are picking him based on the possibility of a violent death. If he is out based on that then nobody would have picked him and we should be allowed to replace him.

The US president as commander in chief is more a member of the military than al-Baghdadi is. As was pointed out nobody picked him for anything other than a violent death.

I picked the wrong Boston sports legend.

Can't believe only 2 people picked Schumacher. Wish I'd remembered him

A bunch of people said they were in this to gamble, but I think I've only received three escrow payments. What is wrong with you people?
01-05-2017 , 09:29 AM
gutted I missed this. I've had some great laughs running similar comps with friends over the years. People running into the pub and shouting "YASSER ARAFAT! HE WASN'T EVEN ILL WHEN I PICKED HIM! GET INNNNN" never fails to entertain.

Some shrewd-looking picks in here. Subscribed!

Definitely subbing for the darkness of this thread. Rooting for everyone who had Bieber.

Waiting for Bob to un**** himself re: Baghdadi.

I made my stance clear in the rules and am standing by it.

You said law enforcement, spies and military personnel. Baghdadi is clearly not the first two and the third is debatable at best. His background is in religious studies, not military operations, and he was elected to his current role by a religious committee. He's in charge of a group that wages war, but so are many other dictators, war criminals, drug lords, etc. Furthermore, I specifically asked you about eligibility issues in my PM, which you said people could do in the OP. Baghdadi should be in and there is no reading of your OP where it's clear and definitive what your posture would be regarding someone like Baghdadi.
