At least you don't have Bixby asking you to remember your parking spot every time you get out of the car.

I liked the swipe up gesture of the accessibility menu and the one button google device manager. Both were removed with A12.
Think 256 is biggest and its out of stock.

There is a 512 model, but it was originally available as an unlocked phone for some reason. I'm not sure why Fi users are getting screwed here.

I also didn't like that black was the only color available with 256+, but the case can fix that.

I got the Pixel 6. Phone seems generally fine, but the fingerprint sensor (on the front of the screen) is a step down from my several-year-old sensor on the back of my OnePlus 6.

I've had a few issues with the fingerprint sensor, but not many. I want to go back through the fingerprint setup to hopefully make it better.

I am coming from a 4XL where I loved the facial recognition, but that didn't work so well when you're wearing a mask. So I was excited to come back to fingerprints. Hopefully it's not buggy.

Weird I'm trying to get unlocked from Google store and it only shows 256. Maybe a Canada thing.

I like android only for the freedom of action, but you have to pay for it, memory and speed. The phone starts to hang a lot, it takes a long time to load programs. But I'm talking about those who often sit in the phone, take photos, shoot video, work. Not cab drivers who have two apps, a taximeter and an online movie theater! Tell me, how do you fight this?
Do Android One phones act like this?

I added multiple fingerprints, which has helped. Any kind of residue on your finger and maybe the cold still gives me problems. I don't remember my 3XL having any issues with the sensor on the back.

Aside from that, the phone has been great. I got 3 days of battery life with light use and probably about a day+ with moderate use.

Still not sure how I feel about the curved edges on the Pro and I was hoping the camera bar would have led to a slimmer case, but it doesn't feel overly slim with Google's case (I also miss Google's fabric cases).

Google says this fingerprint sensor being worse is a feature not a bug.

I've tried adding my (same) thumb as a finger under multiple "fingerprints" so maybe that will work. We'll see!

Hi All

never really use my phone for much but i have added a heap of music lately and want to ask what music app do you all use on android ?

I have a one plus 7 pro

Also i have a pair of mini external speakers - had them a good few years now and when i plug them into my PC for example the sound is amazing like they are the size of an egg each and they are cable connectiong (audio jack) and they rival any full size PC speaker for output , however when i plug them into the phone the sound is like just using the phone speaker for loudness also a bit tinny, any advice ?

at the moment on the phone i am using Youtube music free edition, not sure if thats good or bad. But i would want a free app just to listen to my own music files please.

Could also do with an answer to this, my phone's older (probably in the market for a new one soon) but since google play music stopped working I've been using increasingly janky solutions

I didn't have a problem migrating from google play music to youtube music.

ok so seems YT music is the option then

It doesnt to be too user friendly

on my home PC for example i use an app capped musicbee which i like the layout of and the functions work well for what i use it for

i will watch some videos on youtube of how people use YT music on their phones , how they create playlists/shuffle entire library etc

thanks
