That's a culturally perpetuated myth.
Women are actually way hornier when they're in their prime baby-making ages (late teens to early 20s). As they get older, panic sets in. The behavior you see (cougaring etc.) is a cultural phenomenon, not a biological one.
Same with men. Testosterone levels peak in early adulthood and carry on until late 20s, then it's all downhill, unless you maintain your baseline test levels with lifting or exogenous hormone "supplementation." Then you will feel 20 and ready to **** anything with a hole more often.
