While I believe in evolution and "Nature knows best" (generally), it's always bothered me that guys peak sexually at ~19 and women at ~40.

That's just not right.

That's a culturally perpetuated myth.

Women are actually way hornier when they're in their prime baby-making ages (late teens to early 20s). As they get older, panic sets in. The behavior you see (cougaring etc.) is a cultural phenomenon, not a biological one.

Same with men. Testosterone levels peak in early adulthood and carry on until late 20s, then it's all downhill, unless you maintain your baseline test levels with lifting or exogenous hormone "supplementation." Then you will feel 20 and ready to **** anything with a hole more often.

My thought was that from a strict biological "perpetuation of species" point of view, it would make sense that male and female sex drives would be aligned (when they're generally healthier and prime breeding age and thus more likely to have healthy children).

As far as I'm concerned, any two consenting adults, regardless of age or whatever is fine.
