No one's going to say no to this. I'd never have to work another day in my life, I'd free up a good chunk of time to do whatever I wanted the rest of my life plus I'd be rich. No downside imo.

Lol at "prime of your life". Its the prime of your life because you dont have financial worries cos you dont have a family yet and you have a lot of freedom. Id rather than 35-death be the prime of my life and as a bonus you will meet a nice chick, settle down and know that you, your wife and your kids will never have to worry about money again.

I'm taking the money for sure. I think if I was 40 and had kids I might not do it though. A lot of factors like that come into play. I should have made the thread have no specific starting age. Interesting results so far....

This 100%. Anyone saying this is a no brainer is ridiculous. Maybe it's because I'm not desperate but there is not enough money in this world that could sway me to give up my life, my family and my friends for 10 years.

Is there a number for 1 year? Yeah, probably. But it's a big one. 2 years? Less likely. Anything greater than that is basically a no for any amount.

Whether or not the prison is minimum or maximum security would have no impact on my decision. Forget prison, if someone offered me a 100 million but I couldn't leave my house for 10 years I'd still turn it down in an instant.
