Has anyone read this yet?

Give that his other book 'Beat the donks' has positive reviews, I am surprised I can't find any reviews on this book - including Amazon.

Until this thread, I had never heard of it or Beat The Donks.

I just bought it because "Beat the Donks" was very good

this book appears to be about his study of hands at online micro-limits which I am just starting to play more

it was just shipped so I will tell everyone what I think in the near future

Hey Doc,

Here is the thread on Beat the Donks. I just picked it up based on the overall positive reviews on that thread.

I just ordered Playing the Player and Poker Plays You Can Use so it might be a while before I get around to ordering Statistics of Poker for a full read but if Beat the Donks turns out as good as I hope, I may jump it higher on the queue.

I've only seen a very small number of reviews of Beat the Donks so I'm not sure how confident I should be in those reviews.

What is in this book ? Does it help interpret player stats ?

For example , if you know a players CBET turn percentage , can that tell you what range of hands that player is betting with on a particular board ? Obviously 10% cbet on turn means he has something fairly good . But can a stat of 30% or 40% tell you anything ? What is the difference between 40% and 60% cbet on flop or turn or river ? What about 3-betting the board flop , turn or river , etc .

It is a book that reports what are the stats (like cbet% or 3b%) of players per winrate so you can learn what are the "optimal" percentages, according to the author's datamined online 100NL full ring data.
