Book looks great. Tried to order on Barnes & Noble and not in stock. Any idea as to when they will carry it if at all?

The book is about tournaments in general although most examples are from live tournaments. The book will teach you what I do to beat both live and online tournaments as the main difference between live and online is hand ranges.

Hi Jonathan,

I seriously consider buying your book,I think your a sick player and the book seems like a great piece of work.

Could you just tell a bit more about the differences from your book and Kill Everyone? I just read K.E and wonder why you say that Kill Everyone would only make you a marginal winner, as they clearly also advocate LAG Style for MTTs.

cheers

Jonathon, can a cash game player get anything from this book. Hand ranges or stuff along those lines. I know cash and tourney games are two totally different ballgames but is there anything a cash game player can pick up from your book.

Re: Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker by Jonathan Little

My book is different from kill everyone, and really most poker books, in that I teaches you to think about poker and hand ranges instead of simply teaching you a set of rules. You need to learn to figure out every situation yourself in order to make it to the top.

Cash game players constantly make it to the top of the leaderboards in mtts on day 1 but rarely final table. This is because they have no clue how to play shortstacked. There is a huge section in the book on short stack play that every cash game player should read. The book will also explain some of the things you have to do differently during the early stages of the tournament.

Jonathan - I'm excited to get this book and did a tour of several bookstores in LV yesterday with no success. Amazon is telling me almost three weeks to ship. Are there any avenues to get the book more quickly? I know patience is important in the game and all but I'm having difficulty exercising it here.

Because of 2+2 rules, I can't post anything about the distribution of my book. I don't want to get banned. Sorry.

This, I would snap-buy it if it was available in Kindle format right now.

The 20 hours of poker videos you give along with the book? how does that work? Does the book come with a DVD or something?

I probably can't post about the promotional material in the book as it is against 2+2 rules and I don't want to get banned. Sorry. :-(
