While it is true that there is no answer key, there is an entire thread in the Red Chip Poker forum that is dedicated to the workbook. Numerous people have posted and discussed their results. You will have plenty of examples with which to compare your work.

The book is excellent, but you need to put in the work. I'm 14 hands in (out of 40) and can see noticeable improvements in my thought process and how I visualize ranges throughout a hand. Don't expect the book to tell you the answers. Each problem is designed to guide you toward conclusions about ranges in certain spots, and you WILL find them if you do the problems.

If your hand reading is vague or hand-wavy, this book will fix that and teach you to think in a technically sound way. It's easily worth the money if you're not already an expert hand reader and will actually do the problems.

Also, been mentioned already, but I recommend writing out answers and posting them on the red chip forum for feedback.

Im tempted, i am a huge donky in live games since it so different than online, i cant get used to so many players calling pre flop, so many limpers, very little fold equity. Is this a book that could be useful for me?

I haven't seen the book so I don't have an opinion, but SplitSuit recently released a series of videos where he goes through the entire process for one of the examples. If you would like to see what the problems are like (this one is for determining an opponent's range) and also get an idea of the work involved in doing the exercises, all four videos can be found on his website

I went through the whole workbook.

I'd give it 3 stars out of 5. I like the overall concept of learning by crunching numbers and ranges for specific hands. It would have been better (and for the price I would have expected) if for each hand the coach/author would at least make some sort of substantive commentary, lessons, etc. it's great to learn and discover things on your own, but I also buy the books to get some insights from the author.

I have the book in my possession but how does the license to flopzilla work? I see no mention of it in the book. I bought it off Amazon.

So how is that different from taking marked hands from my PT4/HM2 databases and breaking down those spots myselfs and posting them in 2+2 and other forums and interact with others (as in the RedChip Forum) and compare results? Either way i can download the templates for free in their sites and watch some short and also free youtube videos on SplitSuit channels where he goes through and breaks down a spot and show us how to properly use those templates, my 2cc.

Right, this is sort of what I was getting at in my review as well. I could have analyzed any hands and learned something, not just the ones provided in the book. And I realize there is not one answer on how to correctly breakdown these hands...however, there are definitely a lot of wrong answers, mistakes, and miconceptions that average players can make....For the price, I would have expected the author to provide some substantive commentary on each and every hand, help people avoid mistakes and draw some lessons from the hand.

That being said the book has some good points, I learned from going through it, but it could have been better.

100% Agree with you...What im doing right now is that i download it the templates from his site (they are free) and im watching the free videos on his youtube channel where he breaks down a spot for each street using that template, i think is sooo much better and cheaper than just getting the workbook and the end up results will be the same.
You can download the templates for free from here and for the videos just click these links for preflop, flop, turn and river, cheers.
