Stupid question I guess, but so many people are looking forward to it. I'm finding it difficult to wait.

Mason, has 2+2 ever done this before?
Benefits would be noticing the inevitable typos and forumula corrections.

Like a software beta-release with a built-in expiry date in the pre-release pdf file, if that's even possible.

Anyways, I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

The problem with doing this is it would effectively make readers pay for a lot of the same material twice.

Out of curiosity, what type of content would you have liked to see? If you do end up reading the book please send me a PM letting me know if you were disappointed in the content or if it ended up being better and a bit more advanced than you were expecting.

I'd start with the second book. Then I think you can talk to others and see if you think the first book would be something you'd enjoy and benefit from. They're very different types of books, largely because the second book would have been impossible to write a few years ago.
