thanx already now for your answers!
I bought both right when they came out. I'm liking the poker blueprint more just because there's some stuff written in ssnlhe I didn't agree with. That being said, I really liked ssnlhe and I thought the chapters on 3/4/5betting were worth $100 alone. I'm only on page 100 on the pokerblueprint, but it's a steal at $37.

If you're already a winner at 200nl I think you'll probably know most everything in the pokerblueprint. Obviously this book wasn't written with the 200nl player in mind. If you're a poker book junkie than I think this is one of my favorite books out there along with ssnle and fee's ebook.

Good to know. I will wait to print out.

Also, I sent an email about getting forum access, not heard back yet.

Thanks.

I actually think the book's target audience is under stated, there are a lot of 200NL and even 400NL regs who don't handle themselves post-flop as well as this book describes.

The NL 100 Label is an injustice to how good this book is, IMO.

Re: Poker Blueprint by Slowhabit

Just finished the book. I liked and agreed pretty much with everything in it which doesn't happen often with all of the videos and stuff out there now. The only one thing I didn't agree with was raising QQ on a 982A board after flatting preflop in position and villain bets the turn. I would rather flat with QQ and raise a hand like QJ.. I can't think of too many situations at 50nl 100nl where I would turn QQ into a bluff on the turn and raise.

The early part of the book about a 200nl reg arguably not being that much better than a 100nl reg really hit home for me. I've gotta do my taxes the next couple days and start thinking about a plan to move up.

That must be a typo. I would never do that with QQ on that board. I'll fix it. Thanks.

EDIT: it would be great if people can post reviews about the content in the other thread as this one is getting very long: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/33...nguyen-721395/

Reading books from the PC truely sucks. More of these ebooks should come in cheapo thesis/project bindings at the very least imo.

Lyle McDonald the diet book author does this. ebook and low cost printed books for around $40 if i recall rightly.

take it to kinkos, or staples or another printing place, or print it yourself.
