If this book is from 2011 or so, it is worth 25 at most. I know there was some snowflakes book about plo, that price went down from that, the book was worth 25 at most. After the cheaper books, the next step is ones own work or and pay tons from training that could also be given out as a complete strategy in book form, but isnt. If such a book comes out by a top player and is recommended by sure people, it would be up to a steal to get it. But the odds are almost sure it would be worth just 25, that makes the same or so money if 100x buy it.

What is so complicated about PLO? The frequencies and sequences are identical in every pot-limit game with 4 betting rounds. All you need to know is your current hand strength.

The point is that the strategy of this game like any other form of Poker is all determined by the betting structure and the size of the blinds. Everything else is only there to distract/confuse people. PLO plays exactly like PLHE, you just need to know which hands belong in the nuts category and which hands are air.

You could even invent your own poker variation with a 2:1 big blind/small blind structure and 4 betting rounds and it would play out exactly the same. Use 3 holecards or 5 whatever...it's always the same.

You're obviously one of the most succesful PLO players online, because anyone else saying this would look incredibly foolish and delusional.

I did a long video series at CardRunners in 2011. It was a 10-12 part theory series based partly on the book material. It's probably the best videos I did back then, but I think it could be done better. Specifically it's on the didactic, verbose side.

The book kind of is too, but when a book is like that you can take your time and selectively read. Skipping over complicated charts, or skimming sections where you don't think the level of detail is necessary for you. A video needs to be more accessible.

I think I did other CardRunners videos too, sweat videos and such.

For what it's worth, given its unfortunate role in this thread, I'll add that my personal life is excellent now.
