I've taken an hour this evening to browse Owen Gaines book, well the first few chapters, from what I've seen its likely going to be what I need too work with, I like the exercises and examples given, I think taking a few weeks to go over this will be hugely beneficial to my game, I can see myself sat with a calculator, note pad and pencil whilst logged online playing in the not too distant future
It will be an uphill struggle lol but just a look at some of the examples of EV in the chapters frightens me because I've seen hands there I've lost money on time and time again
sure maths frightens me but not as much as spending my future in poker with little or no understanding of it, if I can find the discipline to get through this I can finally stop relying on luck and always wondering if I really have improved
