Not sure where to put this thread. Anyway. If I mainly play NLH tournaments; besides from benefiting from Reading tournament books; would I have any benefit Reading a cashgame book? A detailed answer would be much appreciated, thank you.

I've recently been studying Ed Miller's "The Course". I'm actually really liking it, and feel like I'm getting a lot out of it.

A follow up to this. I applied some of the simple principles in the Aria during a recent poker trip, playing 1-3.

My go-to style was a little weak-tight. The Course loosened me up a bit, and taking its pre-flop guidelines, I raised hands I wouldn't previously. This directly resulted in me hitting at least 3 huge hands, that no one gave me credit for.

Anecdotal and small sample size, but there you go.
