Wowwwwow so many books priced above $300 it's getting ridiculous. Anyone know who the guy is?

This is Tom Chambers' ebook. The guy makes vids for a training site, and he has many good comments as a coach from experienced PLO players. His ebook seems fairly analytical, with the kind of stuff you don't find on the net because we don't have the tools for Omaha yet, so it involves doing the gory maths the ol' way. Should be quite interesting.

wow pretty expensive, but reading through the testimonials it looks this guy really knows his stuff and put a lot of hard work into the books.

Just get Jeffs book and if you can dedicate yourself to implementing the concepts you`ll save thousands and still prosper.

Unless you think Jeffs's book teaches all there is to know about the game, there is room for more advanced material for people who want to beat midstakes.

I think its wise to give Jeff's and Rolfs books a shot first because of the good price and good quality. Also 2+2 is coming out with a PLO book. You could get all 3 those 3 books for around $100. Then if you still can't prosper enough then buy the $3500 books if its within your bankroll.

This post by LearnedFromTv is one of a kind. He doesn't toot his own horn and basically tells it as it is. I have spoken to 2 students of Tom's and they have said he is top notch and pretty amazing as a plo coach. One of the 2 that i spoke to is a nl cash game coach..i think that sums it up.

some review would be nice from those of you who purchased!

I am curious , how detailed on the different topics? (I've read the ToC and seems extremly detailed)? and how much an information exists on the pages? I mean in the most ebooks every word and line is an information, there are no equivocal phrases. just stonecold information.

I don't own the book, but received some PLO coaching from Tom.

I'll put it in simple terms: Talking to Tom about poker is like talking about space with Stephen Hawking. He's probably put more thought into PLO than I have any two combined things in my entire life. It's absurd, and he's brilliant.

Is the book worth $2500? I don't know, because I don't own it. I can say, what you will learn from a fraction of his insight is worth a lot more than $2500.

we already have propokertools, which can do ranges. The rest of the math, I would imagine, would come from writing up game trees for multistreet play and finding max EV lines.

It certainly would be nice to have a program that could handily write up game trees, incorporating ranges and stack/pot information.

Tom does vids for Pokersavvy+ and they are just great. He puts a lot of thought into every decision and is able to put it into words.

Anyone knows what stakes he plays? (he plays lower for vids, I suspect)

Wouldn't it be a better marketing plan to make small profits by selling books in huge numbers, rather than vice versa?

How many people would be willing to spend $2500 on a single book?

I don't think anybody would have spent that much even if they decide to build a poker library.

You have to be incredibly gullible to buy this book. Tom is just a person. He sat beyond his computer used his imagination and created a little booky. Now greedy lil Tommy wants to see if some dopes are willing to pay him $3500 for it. If he can sell just 30 copies, hes gonna $100,000.00 for himself. Do you know how hard it is to make $100,000 playing poker online these days? Months of work, hours and hours of grinding. He just wants your money. This is just my opinion.

You got some coaching along with the book, and it targets advanced players (who already built a bankroll). Check out the author's website.
