Wow OP got owned there by Eponymous. From that screenshot the advice is terrible. Care to post a graph of your results from the last year?

I downloaded this when OP generously offered it for a free download for a few days a couple of weeks ago. I read it this week.

While I appreciate the time and effort he put into writing it (writing can be a lonely and laborious endeavour), I can't recommend it as a purchase. It's basically just a collection of notes and clichés that have appeared in dozens of other books for beginners. This '10,000-foot-view' basically amounts to "Everything I learned about poker from reading 'Super-System' and talking to lolbad regs at 1/2 for a few years".
Although it's a fairly short book, it has the feel of something that evolved piecemeal over eight years or so, and that's possibly why it feels about eight years out of date. I almost laughed out loud at the section on 'betting for information', because it's so outdated.
I'm sorry, OP, but outside of the softest live games, the knowledge you share in the book has very little utility. Far better books covering the same topics were written long ago, and if a newbie was looking for a guidebook that was more relevant to today's games, there are many better options. There are probably a whole lot of worse ones too, but that's not really a recommendation.

I have read Chapter 1 and 2. I agree with ArtyMcFly - based on what I have read so far, it is more or less a rehash of basic info that has been already covered in other books. This book would probably have been useful about 10 years ago but in today's poker world, it is considered pretty basic info. While reading it, I was thinking this may be a decent book to get a very new poker player to read (i.e. beginning player or someone's spouse or girlfriend who is looking for a quick primer on basics). In any case, none of the concepts is covered in such a way that I would recommend it over other books out there.

I have not read Chapter 3 which is the strategy chapter so I will reserve any judgment on that section until I have read it.

If you read more than 2 pages, you are -EV already.
