It has been a long time since they published. I think many good books have been written by other publishers in the last coulple of years, but sometimes it's hit or miss--we all know the good ones and the not so good ones. It seems like D&B, Daily Variance, Cardoza, etc. are always cranking something out.

Ho taxer:
We're currently working on Philip Newall's next book and expect to have a new Harrington manuscript in a couple of months. So both of these books should be available by the end of the year, and we should be making an official announcement relative to the new Newall book soon.
As for the two volume set that you reference, that author wanted to make too many changes to our standard contract, so we returned the manuscript to him. I believe it will probably be published elsewhere.
And relative to other publishers doing books and not us, the last book we released was approximately 18 months ago. Part of the reason for us producing no books recently is that we just haven't been offered books, except for the one mentioned above, that met our standards.
Unlike many other publishers, unless we know the author(s) quite well, we require a completed manuscript for us to make a decision relative to publication. And then sometimes even if we accept a book, it won't make it all the way through our review and rewrite process and thus doesn't get produced by us (and perhaps doesn't get published at all).
Anyway, that's our current status.
Best wishes,
Mason
