Re: More NL cash game books to come?

Indeed. 6-max is the huge hole not being filled at the moment.

Did Mason state that he has released the PNL authors of there contract? Im sure he will regret it if PNL 2 is going to be a 6 max nlh book. We have been asking him to do a 6 max nlh book for a long time and he just brushes it off. correct me if im wrong Mason but didn't you say there isn't enough demand for a 6 max nlh book?

For the authors to be released, I and the authors need to come to a release agreement and at this point in time, that has not happened.

I am not the one who does a six max book, or any book for that matter. The book is written by the author(s), and as of this moment, we do not have such a book. Both Dan Harrington and Bill Robertie, as well as the PNL2 authors, have indicated that their next book will contain six max material. But the writing on Harrington on Cash Games : Volume III hasn't begun yet, and as far as I know, the writing on PNL2 isn't completed. In either case, I don't see the manuscript until after it is submitted to Two Plus Two for publication.

However, to answer your question, I don't believe I have ever commented concerning the demand for six max. But based on what I read on these forums, it sure seems like the demand is there, and we would certainly be happy to publish a top notch book in this area. Furthermore, I do believe that will happen sometime in the future (and it's always possible that a book or books we publish on this topic can be by an author who at this time is unknown to us).

Best wishes,
Mason

Re: More NL cash game books to come?

Just recently i was playing in a NLH 500 nl full ring game in las vegas. I couldent believe how many times our able got shorthanded during the period of 5 hours that i was playing. Either for players quitting the game or other players going out on a break. I must admit i felt very lost shorthanded, it just seemed like i was getting blinded to death. I didnt know how to handle the trash i was being dealt.

Mason

Bill Robertie mentioned in the pokercast they actually left out a 6-max chapter from HOC because of space issues. What sort of stage it was in terms of preparedness I have no idea, but I know I'd love to see that chapter.
