Saw this just released within the last month. Figured a thread should be started. Just received my copy a few days ago, and will post a review when finished. 470+ pages, definitely going to need some time to get through it. Hoping others will post reviews here.

Any updates? I saw where three diagrams in the book were incorrect, unfortunately. D&B released revised diagrams on the website.

I've read 100 pages so far and am enjoying the book and taking notes as I go. I'm an average player at best so feel this book applies to me well so far as I am taking plenty on board. I did notice the 3 wrong diagrams too but thought I was missing the point, glad to see it was an error.

My copy just arrived but I'm very green at no limit, yet have been studying and playing Limit for about a year. Still this book might be a bit above my skill set.

I don't understand why his charts for when you're playing with a stack of less than 6BB in early position wouldn't include the middle aces, yet include the small aces. Is this just a strange phenomenon and I'm missing the big picture?

Curious to hear what other people think of the book. I'm going to be going through it up until Sunday

I don't think I'm qualified to criticize the content of the book, but the format and organization is intense, as it reads somewhat like an encyclopedia.

I'd think that even someone were a strong player, to make adjustments to mirror Little's style, that flashcards of his hand tables would be necessary. Unless that's what pro's do already? I'd love to get an answer from someone qualified. Basically, are people able to fire off specific ranges to specific scenarios, every single time? Even Little, in the book on page 25, laughs at himself saying, "Even as I type this, I am surprised to see that 9-9 is a fold. I should study my Push/Fold app more!" (in regards to being first-in, in EP, with less than 12bb).

I guess in hindsight, any book can only have so much content, or style. Like Ed Miller's The Course seems almost too conceptual, and Little's book here is at the total opposite of that spectrum... As a new student to the game, I feel myself reading multiple books at any one time.

It is likely just another book of information that we already have of tourneys, but whatever. What comes to Little's style, he is somewhat loose preflop, c-bets the flop, checks the turn and calls the river if he has something.

I have the same question, is this geared mainly towards tournament or cash games?

Saw this on an Amazon review

However, almost all of the charts he's used so far (a total of 42 by page 86) have been wrong compared to what he is saying, which is frustrating. For example, in a section about playing pre-flop big blind behind limpers, there's a chart that shows: Raise for value 6.5%, Raise as a bluff 42.8%, and Fold 50.7%. Clearly you would not fold when you can check, so this is a misprint. Unfortunately, many of the charts are misprints, most of which are not just a typo like this one.

Hi 3aces:

Funny, but I remember being attacked by Little because there were a small number of type-os in my poker psychology book. For those who want to know more, here's a post by Little to read:

As I replied on Amazon, this review is completely inaccurate. There are three incorrect charts in the books and the updated charts have been posted on the book's website which I cannot link to here because I do not want to be banned.

I have never stated my books were impeccably clean, whereas you have. I simply pointed out that your statement was not accurate. I make it very clear to my followers that I make mistakes and am far from perfect. You seem to have a consistent problem with drastically warping reality to fit your agenda.

I have stated many times that there are three incorrect charts in the first version of the printed book and that the updated charts can be found on the book's website. I would post a link, but the 2+2 mods are notoriously heavy with the ban hammer. These three mistakes have been corrected in the audiobook and ebook versions.

If anyone ever has questions about my work and would like a direct answer, feel free to contact me through the obvious channels. I am happy to help those who want to learn.
