well thats easy, think about before that book came out there would have been another book which was considered the holy grail. I remember people used to see it as in insult if you bluffed them and it was rarely done.
I remember reading in a book to randomize bet sizes based on the minute hand of your watch, this is terrible advice but by your definition the book was THE book for tournament play and so that bit of information along with everything else in the book is timeless.
The book is just outdated in my opinion, theres a chapter on being deceptive which is stupid, raising to gain information. Theres no talk of ranges or frequencies etc. Basically its a very basic book for absolutely beginners that is missing a lot of modern theories or ways of thinking in modern games and a lot of information that is really bad for todays games.
