I'm looking for books to increase my knowledge in 1/2 NL live . I have only read the harrington cash game books. Any other up to date must reads??
Not really a no limit book but if you don't mind playing some live limit games... Small stakes hold 'em (by Sklansky, Miller, and Malmuth). Is pretty much a must read... The book is about 10 years old now but at least (IMO) still has lots of information that is still relevant in today's games.
Ed Miller's recent books are really good, although his newest one, Poker's 1%, is likely not applicable to 1/2. Also, Poker Plays You Can Use by Doug Hull seems to be held in high regard. Don't know too much about his next book, Red Chip Poker.
Also, I would highly recommend a subscription to Bart Hanson's website. The material in this site has been awesome, and has helped my game more than any book from recent memory outside of Poker Plays You Can Use. I recommend it over any "low stakes" book.
