Appendix IV of Kill Everyone lists an Assumed Rank Order For Calling Ranges which has a section which goes ... 88, KQs, 77, ATs, ....
However in the suggested calling ranges in Appendix III there is no situation where KQs is called in preference to 77, and quite a few where 77 is called in preference to KQs.
Is this a mistake of is there something I haven't thought of?

77 > KQs in almost any situation.
I think most people (myself definitely included) probably used to think pocket pairs are worse than they are and pretty hands are better than they are when in reality pocket pairs are pretty awesome, they're just quite hard to play.

^ That's what i think. I assume Appendix IV is referring to calling all-ins - it is partnered by Appendix III - Assumed Rank Order for Pushing Ranges
(in the OP it should actually read Appendix II that shows various spots where 77 is a call but KQs is a fold).
