Hey, I was searching the forum and I found a referance to the idea of Internal vs External ranges. Someone explained that this was a method used for visualizing ranges, and from what I could tell there was a fair bit of trolling in the thread.

In any case, a few people echoed that this is a reference from a book. I'd really like to know what book this is from, and whether anyone would recommend it.
