While I don't think it's necessarily to be a winner player in order to give good advices I agree a big percentage of losing players give bad advices and I agree that if that's what the customers want, it's a must for them to out their SNs. I'm not interested in SNs but the majority of customers are. You can't write an over-priced book and expect people to don't want SNs. If they want SNs and you don't give them what they want you're insulting your customers.

I agree. I also was dissapointed by Improva's book and Easy Game is the best over-priced book that I've read. I don't reccomend Improva's book. There are better books someone can buy.

bumping because I am torn here as I've listened to a lot of Improva's audio (the three podcasts with Bart Hanson & the 3 free sessions he posted on DC) and yet he is down like 30 grand over a decent sample size on the three accounts I'm pretty sure are his on PTR...

Yeah he doesn't post his screen names etc. I really think your better of with the baluga books..he has 2 e books

the book is actually very good. regarding improva's skills, grindcore and morgauth (blah234 i think) both said he was their coach or still is.

well blah234 displays his sn right..does the improva do that

yes improva's screen name was visible in his DC videos and from what I could find on PTR he was combined down like 30k at mostly 1-2, 2-4 and some 5-10 which is pretty bad... and this was over something like 100k hands so the chance of it just being variance isn't too high.

I'm more convinced about blah234, although I have tried to look his SN up on PTR a few times over the last little while since his Apex Predator videos came out and it always has said "error" (tried to check his results as Morgauth, the sn he's using on Carbon Poker (Merge))

Yeah... I use PTR a lot and his is the only one that repeatedly gives that error. I know it's a cynical-as-**** thing to say but I wondered whether he found a way to block it or contacted them or something

almost certainly not but online poker is shady you never know... the microNL - 1000NL in a year thing is marketable and would be worth protecting possibly

He could be using some type of non-visible character in his name. I know some other player did that, forgot his name though

Don't be paranoid. I saw his profile a while ago and it looked legit. The issue is probably on PTR side.

about improva... i was thinking that he's actually just playing on that account for videos purpose (he's from Denmark and iirc they can't play on Stars due to tax reasons). like friends' account or so.

I did say that it was "almost certainly not" true, but with recent developments I think it's best to be skeptical about people's claims (girah, etc.)
