By the way, if you ever want recommendations on non-fiction books on business, social psychology, personal growth, etc... , just pm me or ask me on this board.
I generally stay away from a hardcover because of the dustjacket. If I do buy a hardcover, the dustjacket has to be taken off in order for me to read because it gets in the way.

I have only bought four books so far. In Germany you don´t have a wide range of Poker-Books than in the USA for example.

What do you think which Books are some MUST-HAVE for an online Player?

I have 33, read all of them. Mostly focused on NLHE Cash, with a little bit of PLO. Every time I travel I make sure to buy a new one for the airport/plane.

While most of them tend to repeat information in slightly different forms, I'd have to say that my favorites so far have been:

Strategy:
Professional NLHE (Flynn,Mehta,Miller)
Small Stakes NLHE (Flnn,Mehta,Miller)
Analytical NLHE (Bakker)
Playing the Player (Miller)

Other:
The Poker Mindset (Taylor)
The Mental Game of Poker (Carter)
Ace on the River (Greenstein)

About 20, i posted in another thread the ones i liked the most and also helped me the most in my game, but gotta say that currently, Playing the player, Secrets of Professional Tournament, Mental Game of Poker, Treat your poker as a business, the psychology of poker and harrington on hold em are my favorites and have helped me improve a lot, also recommend for SnG player SnG strategy of Moshman, really good book, with that you nor only will win at SnG but will have an easy run in the satellites for tournaments.

First book I purchased was "The Theory of Poker" by David Sklansky and although it took me a while to get through it, I found it to be an excellent read.

Second was "Read em and Reap" by Phil Hellmuth and Joe Navarro. This book more than paid for itself the first time I played after finishing it.

Third and Fouth are the "Harrington on Cash Games" Volumes 1&2.

I just stared volume 1 last night and am looking forward to getting more into it.

Cheers!

I'm at about 35 books. I just counted 28 in my collection at home. I've given away at least 4 that I can remember. I have 4 e-books on my computer. I have 1 that I am just starting to read. 1 e-book I only skimmed. 1 PLO work book I did not finish. Other then that I have read them all. Many of them several times. I rotate them on them on the back seat of the toilet to scan while, "dropping the kids of at the pool."

I believe 2+2 publishes the best strategy books. It's not even close..

I came across this thread through plaaynde's history link and I was wondering how many books people who started playing after Black Friday have.

I saw the photos of avatar77's book collection and was wondering what he could tell me about Poker Unchecked. Good book?

I've bought about 30 or 40 over the years. Don't still own all of them because that's what happens when you "lend" books, but I still have almost all of the books I care to own (except High-Low Poker FAP, sadly).

Sorry for the multiple photos... I don't have large shelves so they are separated into multiple shelves. I have also included some videos that I have. In some photos, there are some bounded books.. those are the e-books which I have printed (pretty much have most of the major ones except for Miller's latest one).

As you can see, I have a lot of books I regret buying and probably should throw out.

I also have another 5 or 6 on my Kindle and probably a few more in my house (i.e. Zachary Elwood's Tells Book) that are left out. Just doing a quick count, I probably have around 160 to 170 books if I include the E-books and kindle books.... I probably only read about half of them and have reread a lot of the classic ones.

Wow, what an impressive library. What are some of your favorites?

I wish other user uploaded images again.

Hi Xsaa,

Looking back, I was just a poker junkie and wanted to learn as much as I can about poker. There are many books that I actually regret buying. The ones that I like the most are the ones that challenge me to think about poker and had many hand reviews such as No Limit Hold'em by Sklansky and Miller, Malmuth's essays, Jonathan Little's books, Winning tournaments one hand at a time, Ace on the River and Doug Hull's books such as Poker Plays that You can Use are some of my favorites. I struggled to read the heavy theory type books such as Mathematics of Poker.
