Does anyone know of any good material to read on stud hi/lo and Omaha hi/lo. I have a good knowledge of the game so I am not looking for beginner stuff. I am looking to play some bigger games so looking for a little more advanced reading. And cash games play....not interested in tournament reading
Thanks

I was dabbling in O8 and looking for something a few years back and just wound up gathering some writings and a podcast or two on the subject. I also found some limited single chapters in some older books.

Later I saw that 2+2 had a split pot game book by Ray Zee. If I were to get back into those games now I'd probably check that one out but I haven't personally read it.

It has a number of reviews on amazon

Nah. I'm predominately a NLH player. A few years back the limit players in my room all started playing O8 on saturdays. I watched a few hands and even my untrained eye could see there were some bad players. So I brushed up and played it for a while.

It wasn't a very big game (5/T full kill) and eventually the bad players got less worse and the novelty wore off.

There was an interview podcast I remember also finding helpful. I think it was Bart Hanson interviewing Mark Gregorich (sp?) probably a free one on Deuces cracked if iirc.

Edit:
The podcast is 8 years old but I recall it had some decent stuff in it. Episode 23 on this page:

But the Ray Zee book seems like a slam dunk no brainer now that I look at the reviews.
