Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone else has read (and fully understood) Ed Miller's recent book.

His basic thesis is that the most important thing in poker is betting and calling frequencies and you should roughly call and bet 70% of the time on the next street from flop, turn and river.
Now what interests me is how this applies to low/medium stakes NL in a live setting. In particular against your classical nitty 1/2 player where I feel that calling with these types of frequencies would defintely be minus EV (rasiing might not). I personally feel the book takes the emphasis away from hand reading too much, particularly against opponents that are generally very easy to read. But maybe I am wrong, I welcome any thoughts.
