I suppose I should go ahead and finish it if the ending is great.
Didn't say the ending was great, just that it was breathtaking. I'm still trying to figure out if the ending actually happened.

Painless Poker is well written and very entertaining. I can see it improving some player's games a great deal, and other player's games not at all. Your response to the book will likely be very personal.

At this point, when I read a poker book, I mostly do so for entertainment. And I'm afraid I haven't found it all that entertaining.

At least half of the book is just Angelo proselytizing meditation. It goes on for literally hundreds of pages. I'm not even sure how long it goes on for because I just can't get through it. I've read about 3/4 of the book, but at this point everytime I pick it up I read for like 15 minutes hoping I'll finally be through all the meditation stuff and get back to something interesting. But it never happens, and I think I've done this eight to ten times now.
