the last years I played almost livepoker and have been successful, because a lot of really bad players here in greece.
I also played onlinepoker but never really seriously.
Now on I want to play online seriously.
I want to sign at the best trainingside but I don´t know which one!
Cardrunners or Iveypoker(Leggopoker)???
Are there advices of experienced and successful players???
I've been a member at cardrunners for years and have always been very satisfied with the product. I haven't used Iveypoker (leggopoker) before so unfortunately can't comment directly on its quality but I have always heard good reviews about it so as Ivegotyourouts said you will probably be fine either way
Yeah thought so too... both sides seems to be of the best, just asked coz cardrunners is so large and years in business maybe more expierianced! But thank you guys!
I dont really know... I am a live cashgameplayer and I never really focused on mtt´s. I just want to find out on which way I can make most money.
I don´t really care if its cash, sng´s or mtt´s.
Why?? which side is better for MTT´s or cash?
personaly I used to love cardrunners before, now mostly all the big names stoped producing videos and can't realy say about their quality now... I know there are some good players there, but havent wathed any of their recent videos
leggo on the other hand has a cheaper sign up fee (cr100, leggo 50), and has some realy good players that are active... so yea I would probably go with leggo
and ofc...I'm not sure how the things are going to work with phil ivey but that just sounds awesome
Yeah thats true about the players I also like coaches like cole south, etc.
The fee is not really the point, coz I would get a one year membership, so there is no fee at cardrunners.
Maybe I will wait about 1 month more to get some more infos. don´t know!
ahh okay I think I will choose CR, coz iveypoker only teaches shorthanded cashgames, mixed games, plo and livetournaments... (Ivey Interview on iveypoker.com)
so no sng´s, no mtt´s...thats bad
yea because all the good pro's left, a ew years ago it was the nuts
Deuces cracked is pretty good im sure you get a week free trial there, TPE for MTT's, but i think the phil galfond site runitonce and ivey poker looks like its going to be pretty special
Sngs or cash doesn't matter. I can destroy both games but i got good from learning from cash games not sng people. Most sng players aren't very good players they can't beat cash games. They understand going deeper into hands and good situational poker spots. Sngs is more about pushign all in with the blinds are high and its more pre flop type importance. but i use cash game strategy in sngs and i destroy using it and the sng players are uncomfortable there not used to it.
In my opinion you have to do research on good players for the games your playing not blindly saying cardrunners or deuces cracked! Since they might not be on those sites, also I feel trainign sites are going down hill as of late, since any medicore player gets a deal on them an pumps out 100 videos becuase they make mroe from teaching than playing.
and most of the best players imo dont do this, they offer one on one coaching instead.
I'd research somebody who is a LONGTERM (very important) big winner.
and hit him up for a coaching session or look for any vids he released in the past. and learn his style as best as you can
Cliffs:
research good longterm players in your field with up to date graphs
go for one on one coaching if possible/ or look for there past vids.
avoid training sites . (unless you know a big winning pro used to put vids on there and you can obtain them through signup)
I joined cardrunners and was tremendously frustrated by their use of DRM which prevents you from being able to download videos to view when and where I wanted to do so.
I wonder f you want to bypass that you could just record your screen using a program like camtasia recorder when its playign for later use....but i dont know to much about that
