Until now I only focused on sng's but I want to start playing Cash games. I found many positive posts about BlackRain's crushing the microstakes and I just wanted to ask if it's worth buying ?

I want to be able to beat the microstakes easily and move up in limits in the future and I just wanted to make sure (as I've seen someone say this before) that this book won't teach me any bad habits which will affect my play in higher stakes such as 100NL +

Also, which stakes does this book cover? 2NL and 5NL or is it also useful for 10 and 25 nl ?

Yes it is worth it, 10x over.

Book helps you beat 2 and 5nl handily, and MOST of the concepts apply to 10nl, 25nl, etc...

However lets not try to play 25nl at 5nl. He is teaching you to beat 5nl. Once you beat 5nl, then you can learn how to beat 25nl... Learn one thing at a time

OP if you would find the thread with dozens of posts asking the same question that has been ask many times before you will find the regs far more helpful here.

BlackRain's book is almost always on page one of this forum. No need for 20 threads asking the same question about the same book.

^^^Yeah there is another thread on it. But I'll offer my 2 cents.

I have read a ton of books on poker that completely changed my play for the better. Started with Harrington's books as a newb, then moved on to Kill Everyone/Raiser's Edge which helped me with my local casino's weekend tourneys.

When I got back into online poker post black friday, I wanted to take a new approach and start from the bottom. Mainly because I'm broke, partly because I work 6 nights a week. I made the mistake of reading SSNLHE and applying those concepts to the micros. In the short run, I ran well, but a lot of the strategies discussed in that book revolve around having more decent players who will fold more often than the micro fish. You can never bluff a fish off TP when the scare cards hit at the micros...and this is true for some regs as well.

Then, after losing a few BI, I decided to give Crushing The Micros a try...the book literally changed my micro play overnight. Normally, when I had my fish crushed, I would make a standard value bet and get paid off. Now I just shove 2-4x the pot and get called with TPGK or some kind of draw... I was giving the fish too much credit as to their skill level. At this level, both the fish and some regs hate folding and this book explains that very well along with numerous other topics.
