Hi all, I have been playing holdem for some time now, and have read quite a few books over the years (some casually, others in more detail) I read poker books not only to learn about new ideas, but also because typically I find (most of) them an enjoyable read

Books I have read (roughly in order of reading)
- Poker 1% (Ed Miller)
- Beat the Donks
- Easy Game I, II, III (Andrew Seidman)
- Poker Plays You Can Use (Doug Hull)
- Playing the Player (Ed Miller)
- Hole Card Confessions (Owen Gaines)
- How to Read Hands at No Limit Hold'em (Ed Miller)
- Let there be Range (Tri Nguyen)
- No Limit Hold'em Theory and Practice (David Skalansky)
- The Theory of Poker (David Skalansky)
- Harrington

Few names I can see in recent threads:
- No Limit Hold'em for Advanced Players (Matthew Janda)
- Jonathan Little's Excelling at No-Limit Hold'em: Leading Poker Experts Discuss How to Study, Play and Master NLHE
- Advanced Concepts in No-Limit Hold'em: A Modern Approach to Poker Analysis
- Poker Workbook: Hand Reading For Live Players Vol 1 (James Sweeney/ Ed Miller)
- The Grinder's Manual (Peter Clarke)- seems like this is more for online games

I have recently started The Course by Ed Miller. I am wondering what should I be reading next that is different from/ builds upon what I have read so far. I play cash games exclusively- primarily home game and occasionally at the local casino. Small stakes $1/$2. Not keen on online poker. I dont mind heavy math, but it doesnt HAVE to be heavy math

Thank you for your suggestions

Just get a crushliveoker.com membership and thank yourself later. Way more value than any book at this point for you.

Sorry to say but all book you're studied so far are worthless and confusing if you don't have the set of skills to unlock this game. For that I would recomend the only book that holds the magic key of all:

"The Education of a Poker Player" by Herbert O. Yardley

If you can transfer the skills learned in that book to Hold'em you'll be a consistent winner in any cash game.

Remember this: You unlock this game with a set of key skills, beyond that it’s another rigged dimension that you’ve got to master.
