BobboFitos book?

I remember a while back it was mentioned that Bobbo was working on a NL book. I've always thought he provided good analysis and liked reading his posts. Anyone know if his book is still being published/is going to be released anytime in the near future?

You can contact Bobbo via PM either here or at leggo and buy it straight from him. Last I heard the price was $750.

from what i gather he won't be submitting it for publication any time soon. and yes, the price is $750.

I have a book with a similar price tag coming out sometime in the near future. It’s like the bible but with tons of charts and diagrams like a dense textbook. Instead of smelling like a normal book, it smells like Usher’s new fragrance.

If you download it as an e-book, you will also get access to several of my instructional videos as well as an optional used copy of the Bourne Supremacy. Watch Matt Damon play an ultra-secret spy agent with the short-term memory of a pothead!

At $975, I think it’s a reasonable asking price given that it comes with a Central Asian Snow Leopard.

Here's a link to a discussion that includes a review or three.

Both and a small bit of HU as well.

I don't care how good the material is, $750 for a 150 page ebook is absurd. I am pretty sure that the only people saying that it's "worth every cent" are people who bought the book and are now trying to justify to themselves their ludicrous purchase.

What's really absurd is thinking you can establish the value of something with little to no knowledge of the quality of the content.

Don't get me wrong, $750 is seemingly very expensive for a book BUT many people I highly respect and who's opinion I value seem to think it was worth the money to them.

You do know several coaches charge more than this book for a single hour of their time right?

Yeah you're right, who needs Bobbo's book when you could read Tom McEvoy or Ken Warren amirite? LMAO.

You know when you watch a training video and the instructor is explaining why they took a certain line. You're basically getting a half explanation and the instructor will be jumping around from hand to hand explaining little bits of different things and leaving some stuff out.

Or when you get coaching and the instructor is sweating you. They'll jump from topic to topic haphazardly based on what situations come up.

Now imagine a complete and thourough explanation for every situation, justified with logical and mathematical arguments, laid out in chronological order.

The cost is peanuts compared to the value you're getting.

Also, any time I've asked Bobbo a question he's been extremely helpful and given me excellent explanations. He even PMed me this morning when I asked him a general question about balance on the forums and it's not as if I'm a student of his (yet) where he'd be expected to do so, I just bought his book.

it's basicly 10 hours + of coaching written down for you
compare it with coaching, not with some lousy sklansky book

Let me say this I love reading BobboFitos posts they are awesome.

Based on the response to this thread he must also be a talented player.

Is there a money back guarantee????? Like on the TV informcials.

You can have this incredible information all for only $750.00. But wait there is more. Act now and we will throw in an autographed mouse pad personally used by BobboFitos himself. All backed by a 30 day money back guarantee.

I also would be willing to do a honest review of the book if he would send me a copy.;)

Before you flame me, know I have great respect for BobboFitos and I am trying to be funny.

what an ignorant comment.

I guess I'll slum it with the rest of the sklansky/harrington apologizers until this eBook winds up at B&N for ~$50. Then I'll try to undo the damage of the lousy books i've read.

you just don't understand how horrible most 2p2 books are until you get some coaching and listen to some experts. sklansky is a good teacher, and his books (esp on LHE) were the best in their class for a while. but bobbofitos is selling something much more specific than any of these 2p2 books, targeted towards a very small market fragment that understands the value of GOOD poker instruction. if you're a 1/2 player and the book saves you as little as 4 buyins, you have profited by reading it, minus the opportunity cost of your time spent studying.

Let me ask you an investment question.

What would be a better investment for a low stakes online player:

1. A Deuces Cracked subscription for about $300 year?

0r

2. The $750 book?
