I got a lot out of the first book he wrote: Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker Vol. 1. Last year he brought out Excelling at No Limit Holdem, which I think is in the top 3 NL books ever written. I haven´t read the latest book, but looking at the contents, I´m sure I will eventually buy it.

i thought "book of bluffs" or "big book of bluffs" was good back in the day.

i think proper places for bluffs and reading potential bluffs is one of the maybe 3 or so things that are important to being a really top player

The tournament series books were decent but not worth the money considering there are 3 volumes which should be 1 book.

The rest of his books seem like a money grab using his name.

He's a marketer that used to play poker, all you have to do is look at his site and it's clear what his intentions are.

I'd also like to get an opinion on Jonathan's stuff from someone who's gone through a lot of it.
Does he ever go into more advanced stuff in his books than the basic analyses he does on youtube?

I have read his three tourney books and the first two were good. I liked the webinar series with other poker specialists, that was varied and interesting but I too am not sure about the quality of his other stuff though.

Personally I love Jonathan's books and I don't think the first 3 volumes should have been one book. All the books were long and extremely detailed. His youtube channel is great, his multiple websites are all good as well. He produces so much great content, still plays all day every day.

He's an aggressive player too. The bluff is definitely in his arsenal

I want to increase my LAG-gy plays in tournaments but I'm not sure if this Bluffs book is advanced enough. Eight of the 18 chapters are before the flop. Here is one review.

I have several books by JL. This one added nothing for me though - it's basically a summary of how to play more LAG. Maybe it'd be good for novices.
