PeterPJames has been doing group coaching for a stable that I am a part of for over two years now and in February I was asked to join a midstacking coaching program with him. I was very reluctant to start midstacking as most players who have always played with 100bb would be, but I accepted his offer for coaching because
Pete was one of the best teachers I had ever had. I cannot stress that enough. Many players are very good at the table but have trouble explaining concepts and lines, and Pete is NOT like that. He is a great coach as well as a great player.
I received videos from Pete's second midstacking series as he created them and they have helped my game a lot. I would recommend Pete's videos or coaching to any player who wishes to improve their game, regardless of what stack size they play.

In his videos Pete discusses:
- Many unorthodox lines which force you to think about exploiting players.
- Limping with a 65bb stack, a concept that I have never seen anywhere else, but allows you to squeeze out a bit of extra profit with a few hands that are not profitable open-raises.
- Adjusting preflop ranges and sizing depending on opponents and table condition.
- Using very small or very big bets to manipulate your stack.
- Betting and raising for thin value.
Many adjustments and differences from fullstacking to midstacking helped me play not only at those two stack sizes, but also helped me realize what adjustments I should be making when playing against players with 40bb which infest today's SSNL games.
My results since coaching. The first 280k hands are 60-80bb play at 10nl and 25nl Zoom. I recently switched to normal tables at 50-200nl playing anywhere from 40-100bb depending on the table.
