Advice: Which one of the following books should I choose? Advice: Which one of the following books should I choose?

2+2 Mods: please don't be upset at my post because I already own many 2+2 books (Sklansky, several Miller, several Harrington, Janda, etc.). They're all really great (I love all Harrington's books). I just want to experiment with some other books.

50% of the time I play micro-stakes 6-max up to $0.10/$0.25
35% low buy-in MTTs $5-$10
15% $5-$11 single-table SNGs

My constraint is not the cost of a book, but I can only concentrate on one book at a time (different authors have different teaching styles which 'scramble' my brain with too many viewpoints, and I learn nothing).

Choices:

The Myth of Poker Talent - Fitzgerald ~$25
(there's a thread here on 2+2)

The Grinders Manual - Clarke ~$60
(very long thread on 2+2 - Mason generally approved it, but with some qualifications).

Polished Poker Vol 1- John Anhalt (free, but workbook costs $). Developer of 'LeakBuster'. Very positive reviews elsewhere.

Hi bdc:

The only one of these I'm familiar with is The Grinders Manual by Clark, and while expensive, it is pretty good. Also, I suspect that some of the Miller books you've read are not 2+2 books.

I also suspect that the best book for you will be the new Janda book we're currently working on. We hope to have it in two to three months.

Best wishes,
Mason

Mason thanks for the information about Janda's upcoming book. I'm really looking forward for it to be published.

I found a link of its table of contents:
