Any strategies yet? It seems to me like you only make $ coolering people.
It only seems to work if I CTRL + FOLD (Not quick fold) when already in a hand/

Re: Zoom Poker thread

The mind boggles at some of the hands I see gold star, Platinum star and supernova players playing. They call a raise pre with complete **** - that I can handle, they are fishing to stack me on an unlikely flop. what *really* pisses me off is when they float the cbet with nothing and runner runner me. I mean WTF? How can it be profitable to play that way? The answer is, it ISNT profitable and that they just got lucky. My problem though is that I expect high star players to do clever things to beat me, not **** things. If I played the way they are playing, I wouldnt be supernova, Id be busto. They should be too.

I think you'll find that the whole star system is a bug in zoom. Mine isn't even set to display but 90% of the time it displays and with random amounts of stars. So, I'd just ignore it.

Lol that might just be whats going on. Obviously not complaining that people are playing garbage but some of the hands Ive lost tonight have been ridiculous. Guys calling pot sized flop bets with 22 on a AA9 board and hitting their deuce, raise KQs late pos vs limper, KJ9r board, oh of course he has K9o... lol

i think tomorrow ill play some PLO that should be fun

"Do you really want to leave the hand replayer?"

THE HAND REPLAYER? Yeah I think I'm fine with that omg so tilting. Zoom is great, but that is really starting to make note-taking a ****ing chore.

nah,

you make money by valuebetting. Just play good solid poker.

I can't comment on the fishiness compared to non-zoom because I haven't played non-zoom 2 NL but this is very fishy.

+1.

- Don't over-adjust
- Don't think that just because it's Zoom you have to play at breakneck speed. -
- Take time over decisions, make lots of notes
- Don't let this song get stuck in your head
