Re: Zoom Poker thread

Anyone else out there playing Zoom with a Mac?

Apparently holding CTRL when folding allows you to watch the end of a hand. That doesn't seem to work using a Mac ( I tried holding the command key also).

Re: Zoom Poker thread

Pretty tough to beat micro zoom playing tight, lose more from blinds, beats, and rake. Down a few buy-ins after a few hours...

Re: Zoom Poker thread

For anyone saying its not a fish fest. I lost 4 BI's after C/R flop and barrelling off to scare cards to get called by 3rd and 2nd pair NO kicker. I even C/R raise flop on a sopping wet board and C/R shove turn on the ultimate scare card to get called by A high for a 400 BB pot....Unless zoom is full of amazing hand readers. Also fully agree with Waffle.

Re: Zoom Poker thread

HM1 update disabled it, FU Arty - I'm pretty sure this is your way to get me back for stealing your blinds.

Anyway, I'm not sure I like playing without a HUD. The game itself is certainly fast, I think multitabling Zoom 6max will be pretty cooooollll (Cartman voice). I also managed to mash the Fast Fold button by mistake with AKs, not for the last time I imagine. Not sure about overall fishiness yet.

Re: Zoom Poker thread

Sorry about the HEM problem, Mr Beer. You managed to import the hands afterwards, I trust?

At first I didn't think I'd miss the HUD because I've colour-coded every single player I've ever sat with. And yet there were a thousand players on Zoom I've never seen before. I think I need to put in more volume. The 2NL player pool on Stars is MASSIVE. :/

Re: Zoom Poker thread

i love how you can buy in to up to entries at the same cash "table" and you can also shortstack, double up, then leave the table and buyback in to the same table for min buyin again

i want to cooler those guys, and that just doesnt happen if i raise with KK, they all fold, except the miners, and i get only the prefloppot or i loose my cbet to a hit from them

you wont believe how many idiots i stacked who where in the blinds and had no choice but to stack off on certain boards

where i can just muck my KK if theres any serious action going on(of course i get it AI if one 3bets another one and its my turn)

also ppl dont fold to any flopbets with any sort of hand at all, so why just dont cooler back at them? they think they are king with there rivered trips and you show them the nutfull

with AA its a different story, because you get calls from Axs, any pair(for 100bb lol), and some random broadwaygarbage and they dont 4bet this, but they'll stack off with it pre if you just shove on them

and with AKs i WANT a multiwaypot, so i can stack those retards with there 92s

Re: Zoom Poker thread

So far the only people calling my shoves on the flop when I have a set are the people with higher sets or nut flush draws, lost about 6 buy-ins from this so far...

No . No need to apologise Arty, I'm just ****ing with you. I am bit irked with HEM though.

And yes, say hello to a million unmarked 2NL players, I think a lot of higher stakes peeps are trying out Zoom at 2NL.

Re: Zoom Poker thread

Anyone got HEM 1 working with Zoom yet?

When I hold CTRL and + left mouse fast fold, it isnt showing the hand result. Anyone else got it working?

Any strategies yet? It seems to me like you only make $ coolering people.
