Re: Zoom Poker thread

What is everyone thoughts on 3betting merged ranges IP vs people with low FV3B. I think I am leaving far to much money on the table by not doing it enough, especially when there are some 25NL regs with <20 FV3B around. Not to mention it will increase my 3b% giving my monsters more value.

Say vs a standard TAG 15/13/3 or something like that with 40% FV3B what would be a good range JJ+, AJs+ and maybe KQs?

Seems insane you would isso with J6s. Your effectivly issoing ATC there.

I probably raise the flop tbh. Theres a few nasty cards for us (club, anything that pairs the board) and I expect his almost PSB donk OTF to contunue liberally vs our raise.

      Re: Zoom Poker thread

So I got through my first 10k hands at Zoom. Sure its not a great sample, but I think I can get an idea of what it's about.

Around the 5k mark, the decline can be linked with a down swing. The decline later on in this graph can be linked with bad play, I remember one night getting far too excited with over pairs and going broke with them.

The break even stretch toward the end of the graph is, imo, increasing the amount of tables. From playing 2, I moved up to 4. My play, as a resulted became more robotic and passive. Also I wasn't able to write notes and exploit bad players.

      Few things to improve on
      • 2 tables max
      • fold when facing a lot of aggression when holding marginal TPTK/over pair's
      • Don't play tired. I work full time so sometime my play after work may not be the best. study instead

Hopefully with a few minor changes such as these will increase my graph for when I hit 20k hands.

definitely need to raise the flop there, there are a lot of bad cards that can kill any action.

h1-well played, i would definitely put him on a overpair,AK there
h2-becuz u 4bet he might call with like AK,JJ+.. JJ,QQ and KK might call flop but not the turn shove so ur looking at facing AK, AA on turn, would prob check n c what he does
h3-calling his flop raise would depend on his stats... vs unknown if u call his flop raise and that blank turn and river pop u can never c/fold and u have to c/call hoping hes on a weaker ace/random bluff
