Does anyone or can anyone who grinds it give some star on hands per hour per table / vpps earned per hour over 4 tables and at what game?

Thanks very much if you can put some info towards this.
I play 4 tables and normally get 1,000 hands in just under an hour. At 10NL I usually get ~60VPP per 1,000 hands running around 25/21. Hope this helps.

I hate hand histories like that but I assume you are IP? I'd probably flat and try get it in on a blank turn.

Re: Zoom Poker thread

What is it with people check-calling with trips this evening? Had several losses of 20bb (when sitting 100 deep) with TPGK/TPTK against flopped trips, where they were played absurdly passively on drawy boards. Could have taken me for a lot more with a bit more agression.

Re: Zoom Poker thread

And just saw my preflop push with QQ called by 99 (thankfully no suckout). Thought I was dead when I saw the flop come AKx, was amazed to see the pot coming my way.

You definitely could. I tend to do periodic HEM reviews for different villain lines to see what sort of hands are turning up. IME @ 25NL+ 6max, a flop raise is rarely a one-pair hand or a pure bluff and are heavily weighted to 2pair+ and big draws. Against this range an overpair is generally a fold, given no other information. Have a look in your own DB for times you've bet-called the flop and jot down the hands villain raised with in a spreadsheet then analyse the data and construct a default line/range when facing a flop raise.

What should your stealing ranges be for Zoom?

I admit when Zoom first started I was probably stealing 100% of the time as people used the fold button and for a while it worked quite well.

People started to defend their blinds a lot better and I got called a lot and as your out of postion it wasn't as profitable.

I narrowed my range down to about 30% any Ax Kx Qx

For people who play Zoom as their main game is this the most profitable? Should it be even less or wider when you only

Any advice would be great.

Re: Overpair @ 10nl Zoom

I'd fold. Villain seems decent, can he really not beat a pair? he has enough equity with AXhh to get it in good.

Maybe you were just in a pool of aggressive players that day, maybe they had a run of good cards, who knows. I am pretty sure you can raise a lot higher than 30% on the button profitably. Id have to look at my stats and this machien is a dog when I try to run pt on it so maybe someone else can oblige.

how much do you try to steal from the small blind when it's folded to you?

On a drawy (and ofc paired) board, trips are not such a fantastic hand and you could be way behind already. It's often safest to go for pot control and keep villain's range wide to include hands you're ahead of, including bluffs and top pair / two pair type hands going for value. If likely draws come in, and sometimes if they don't, then be prepared to throw your trips away against a large bet on the turn or river.

Villain and line dependent ofc.
