Would you fold KK's pre?

I want to share something you all, it’s all part of my “Nitness Anonymous” classes; but I folded KKs pre last night

To make sure I haven’t completely sunken to a completely new level, I need a read check.

6max cash game:-

UTG (Tag) – fold
MP (fish 42/26) – opens 3x
CO – fold
BTN (hero – 26/24 TAg) – 3bets (3.5x)
SB – fold
BB – cold 4bets (2.6x)

I have 1600 hands on the BB, he is 10/8/2 3bet super nit (these are 6max stats). He never gets out of line, never makes moves – typical Nit.

This guy is soo much of a nit he is calling with JJ, QQ, AK, and im 90% sure he is only cold 4betting KK-AA here.

I am very happy with my read, didn’t feel the point calling the 4bet to set mine, I don’t think a bluff/rep on a coordinated flop would ever get him off his AA’s either.

Can i be saved??

Re: Would you fold KK's pre?

Haven't had a fold KK pre / fold set on the flop thread in a while

FAQ: Should I fold my KK preflop? Should I fold my Set?

Re: Would you fold KK's pre?

In fairness to the OP, nobody cold-4bets less than KK+ at.... wait, what are the stakes, anyway?

Why are people constantly looking for reasons to fold KK and sets?

There are plenty of opportunities to fold in poker. When I have KK or a set is not one of them.

Re: Would you fold KK's pre?

Play Zoom FR for long enough to develop reads. Folding KK preflop becomes remarkably easy occasionally when you get the 5/3 1.3%3bet cold 4betting out of the blinds.

Folding KK preflop without seeing Vs hand some way or not having marked cards? I don't where to begin, so I won't. Good fold GL

5bet shove pre and pat yourself on the back for it.

Re: Would you fold KK's pre?

The advice in this thread is why 10/8/2 players are sometimes able to lose their money really slowly. I would fold without a second thought.
