Why is my All-In EV negative on every poker website? Why is my All-In EV negative on every poker website?

I know there is not clear explanation to this, I've been a winning player for about a year and a half, up until the last month and a half of poker. I know that in time I should be profitable, but I honestly don't feel that way playing on the only U.S. friendly sites Cake and Bodog. I just feel like I always get my money in great, and always get the short end of stick. And I'm ready to quit these sites, and grind live til I can maybe move and go back to the easy grinding life of Pokerstars.

But this leads me to ask, for you SNG and cashgame grinders who feel you get your money in at solid spots, what's your all in EV like. I feel like the only times my AV is > EV is when I get my money in bad and suck out.

Out of the four sites I regularly played, Pokerstars, Fulltilt, Bodog, Cake; there should be a .50%^4 = 6.25% chance that I run under EV. But that is the case; and I feel like most solid players will report the same.

Main questions: If you're a solid player, do you run over or under EV? On how many of the sites you play on, if all, why do you think you run like that?

Random Question: Dunno if anyone can answer this, but as for All-in EV,
Is there a standard deviation for the -/+ BB's in EV
i.e. running 400 BB's under EV over the course of 10 100bb pot hands would be 2 standard deviations below 0 on the normal curve, meaning only 2.5% of people would run worse.

In the end you're getting it in better than what your results are. Solid players aren't solid because they run good. They're solid because they don't look at the graph and say wow why am I so unlucky, they become not result oriented.

I'm running about 98.5% of EV. Sometimes I run good, sometimes not.

We're all solid players here

I ran sometimes over EV, sometimes under.

I just started playing PLO and am currently running 10BI below EV.

Running above or below EV is due entirely to chance; there is absolutely no skill in it.

This. Every player in the world from the worst fish to the best pro has a 50% chance of running above EV and 50% chance of running below EV at any particular point in time.

Want the unfair news. You have a 50% chance that your LIFETIME win rate will be below EV. Also some fish has a 50% chance his lifetime win rate will be above EV.

Welcome to variance. Enjoy your stay.
