Symantics or confusion Symantics or confusion

It seems that in the poker world of dealers and players, it is widely accepted to refer to a full house, for example 9,9,9,7,7, as "nines over sevens". I was taught [by my father] that this would properly called "nines full of sevens". I would like to know the correct call, not just an opinion, and a publication in which I could find the answer. Thanks. Willy3333

Saying "over" or "full of" are both fine. They mean the same thing.
